Knives are Sharp!

So, Saturday evening after I finished some major progress with pre-spring cleaning I went to make myself some dinner. Some nice veggies and talapia! Apparently it was just not to be. While opening the package of Talapia (Individual package from store) I slipped and managed to cut a flap of my left index finger. about .4cm deep and .8cm or so in diameter. Luckily someone was able to take me to the emergency room a few miles away.
I waited there for almost 2 hrs between waiting for pain killers and such to kick in so they could glue the flap of skin back together. I love the glue that they used.. it made like a little shell around the area.
Well, after a while the pain killer wore off and I started to feel the throbbing. Ouch! Based on what I have read, it will take about 2 months for this to heal with any degree of normality. Bleh!
Typing is slow, so for my readers, I will try to get updates to you on regular basis, but literally I am only able to type with my pinkie and ring finger on my left hand right now.
This is a good reminder to everyone to have respect for Knives and take the necessary precautions when using them.
